Locking a Publication

At Hail, we take the security, privacy and accuracy of your content very seriously. Read on for details of handy features for protecting and ensuring your content is spot-on.

Have Board of Trustees minutes, business reports or other sensitive content that you don't want accessible by the whole world?

With Hail, you can publish to a select group by protecting a publication with a password.

You can lock a Hail Publication by clicking the 'Lock with password button'

• Go to your publication edit screen, and scroll down in the right-hand sidebar and look for Publication settings (near the bottom)
• Toggle the Lock with password option on and choose a password and click save

This will lock the Publication and anyone trying to access it will be required to input the password. 

Note: Hail members automatically bypass this password.
