How to Turn On the Hail Mobile App

Enable the Hail Mobile App for your organisation

Before you can share content to the Hail mobile app, you’ll first need to enable the app in your Hail settings.

Turn on the app

  1. From the Hail dashboard, go to Organisation Settings
  2. Select the App tab
  3. Tick Allow your organisation to be found in the Hail mobile app
  4. Click Save

Once enabled:

  • Users can search for and follow your organisation in the app
  • Your organisation may appear in nearby recommendations
  • You can begin sharing content to the app from your publishing screens

If you ever want to remove your organisation from the app, simply untick this option and save your changes.


Note: Enabling the app also unlocks mobile app sharing options for articles, publications, notices, and noticeboards.


For schools only:

If you are a school, and would like to use the 'Absence Form' - tick that option on this screen as well.
