Hail website templates are professionally designed starting points that help you create or refresh your website quickly. Templates provide layout structure, styling, and content ideas — while still allowing full flexibility to customise your site for your organisation.
Templates are not locked designs. You can edit layouts, update content, and combine blocks from different templates at any time.

Creative templates vs previous website styles
Creative templates differ from previous website styles (Canvas, Classic, and Collective).
Creative templates are built using flexible content blocks that can be moved, added, removed, and rearranged. This allows websites to be almost fully custom, rather than working within a fixed page structure.
This gives you more control over layout, design, and how content is presented, while still keeping the simplicity of Hail’s editing experience.
How to create a website using a template
1. Choose a template
Browse the template library and select a professionally designed template to get started. Templates are a guide and starting point only.
2. AI-assisted setup
Hail Assist prepares your layout and editable content, then adds the template to your account.
3. Edit & publish
Update content, adjust layouts, add features, and make it your own. Optional design support is available if you’d like help.
Customising your template
Once your template has been added to your account, you can:
- Edit text, images, and colours
- Add or remove sections and pages
- Combine blocks from other templates
- Add features such as forms, news, events, or member portals
- Update your website at any time
There are no limits on how much you can customise your site.
