Members in Hail
It's really easy to add, remove, or change the permission types of members in your Hail Organisation.

- Click 'Members' in the left-hand menu under ‘Settings’.
- Or under your organisation click 'Members'.

- Here you can see all your current members, what level of access they have, and anyone you have invited to your organisation.
- On the right side you can see what plan you are on, how many members you currently have, and your member limit.
- On the left side there is an 'Invite member' button. Click this to add new members.

- The Owner of an organisation can invite people to be either an 'Admin', 'Publisher', or a 'Contributor'.
- Admins have all the same permissions as the Owner, including access to the billing section and can invite people to be either an 'Admin', 'Publisher', or a 'Contributor'.
- Publishers have all content creation permissions and can create publications and edit other members’ content. Publishers can only invite other people as ‘Contributors’.
- Contributors can create articles, upload and tag media, but can’t publish to the web or edit other members’ content. Contributors are not able to invite people to the organisation.

If you click the drop-down on the right side of a member you can choose to change the members access type, or if you are the owner you can transfer ownership to another member. You can also delete a member from here.
Few important notes:
Pending invites count towards member limit in Hail
If you are unable to invite more members to your Hail organisation despite not having used all your member spots, check the 'Invitations' tab for any pending invitations. Pending invites count towards your member limit, so you may need to delete unused invites to free up space for new members.
- Hail team members in your account: If you spot a Hail team member in your account- we are only there to help you! We do not count towards a seat so never take up a member spot on your account.
